OJSC RAD: negotiations on purchasing up-to-date agricultural machinery
Russian Agricultural Division, PAVA subsidiary, is conducting negotiations with representatives of largest European manufacturers of self-propelled and trailing machinery.
BARNAUL, RUSSIA, September 24, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Within implementation of the new project, which is aimed at expanding agricultural production of OJSC PAVA, one of the major Russian grain processors, Russian Agricultural Division (RAD) is conducting an active campaign for acquisition of up-to-date machinery. RAD (www.radcorp.ru), PAVA subsidiary, is involved in negotiations with representatives of largest European manufacturers of self-propelled and trailing machinery such as sowers, cultivators, sprayers and ploughs.
The company intends to achieve high results with the help of the newest agricultural machinery. It will use the most up-to-date methods of work including precision farming. They significantly simplify mechanics' labour, allowing them to concentrate on operations of the machine instead of driving. New machinery helps to achieve better yield and provides harvesting of maximum amount of crop. It also gives an opportunity to reduce losses while harvesting - especially compared to domestic vehicles, when losses can be as much as 30%.
It is planned to service the machinery independently. RAD will prepare the appropriate team of specialists and create a resource base for maintenance works.
Today, RAD has already acquired several combines from Claas company, which were used during harvest at Selhozholding Ltd. in Romanovsky district. Results are more than satisfactory: considerable increase of efficiency can be seen as a consequence of reduced expenditure on fuel, absence of repairs and smaller losses while harvesting.
