Russian grain processor PAVA funds charity actions
PAVA sets the standard for social responsibility of the business, sponsoring various social organizations and projects
BARNAUL, RUSSIA, March 05, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For a number of years, the Altay grain processor PAVA has been granting free food aid for the needy. PAVA is committed to contribute to public welfare in the regions of the company's presence, and do its bit in providing access to high-quality foodstuffs for the local community.
The company on the upswing of growth and development sets an excellent standard for socially responsible business, and its range of partners is very diverse. PAVA regularly supplies flour and semolina to churches and monasteries of the Altay Territory, such as Ioann-Kronshtadt convent and the Kazan Holy Virgin monastery, along with feed mixes for their household farms.
Rebrikha mill, PAVA structural unit, sponsors schools, nurseries and hospitals in the nearby districts. Apart from supplying their canteens with cereals, flour and vegetable oil, purpose money transfer was made to furnish classrooms in the school of Kamensky district.
Various organizations have benefited from collaboration with PAVA, including Altay Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Barnaul Social Help Foundation, Altay Orphanage for Children and the Disabled.
Supporting different social projects is part of the company's acts of benevolence. The most notable charity contributions over the past two years were to the unique Barnaul zoo in one of the city's amusement parks, and sponsoring the XXIII winter Sports Olympics of Altay rural districts.
