Fernand J. Rome continues 42-year winning streak with Rome Greenhouse


CONVENT, LA, June 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fernand J. Rome, Owner of Rome Greenhouse, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of plant cultivation.

Inspired by his experiences growing up on a farm, Mr. Rome established Rome Greenhouse 42 years ago. An expert in plant cultivation, he is in charge of growing greenhouse plants, with a particular focus on tomatoes. He previously worked as a high school teacher for 11 years. He attributes his success as an entrepreneur and independent farmer to his hard work and the support he receives from his family.

Mr. Rome received a Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Foreign Language and a minor in English and Government, from Louisiana State University. He is affiliated with his local greenhouse association and volunteers with his local church in his spare time. He looks forward to more years with Rome Greenhouse.
