Callum Downs Commodity News is a grain marketing newsletter which provides growers across Australia with price information and marketing advice. Malcom has been writing and publishing the paper since 1991.

Bartholomaeus is a Grain Market Analyst and Grain Industry Commentator as well as a grain grower from the Clare Valley in Australia. In addition to the Callum Downs Commodity News, Malcom also writes two weekly columns for Rural Press. One is published in Queensland Country Life and the other is with [Stock Journal in South Australia.

Malcom earned a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of New England as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration from University of Adelaide.
