Bessie M. White Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Food Production
Bessie M. White makes and sells her own jam and jelly products
PLEASANT VIEW, CO, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bessie M. White, Owner of Bessie's, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in food production.
A retired school district employee, Bessie M. White has since devoted her time to pursuing her passion for food. Known among friends and family for her expertise in jam and jelly preparation, she recently launched her own eponymous business. She manages Bessie's, a sole proprietorship through which she sells her own homemade jam and jelly products. Ms. White brings to her company the experience that she acquired from selling homemade jelly at local farmer's markets. She considers finally making a living out of her favorite hobby, and being able to help her children and grandchildren with the proceeds at the same time, to be the most gratifying aspect of her work. She attributes her success to hard work and passion.
Prior to establishing her business, Ms. White served as a secretary at Pleasantville School in the Montezuma-Cortez RE-1 School District for almost 25 years. She looks forward to expanding Bessie's in the coming years. She has lived a farmer's life for 63 years.
