Stanford Who's Who Selects Sensational Wine Producer For Membership
Murray S. Montgomery has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his extraordinary effort in the Agriculture Industry.

ALBANY, WA, AUSTRALIA, September 9, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Murray S. Montgomery has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his extraordinary effort in the Agriculture Industry. As Owner of Montgomery's Hill Wines for the past 15 years, Mr. Montgomery has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.

Montgomery's Hill Vineyard is situated on the South Coast Highway 15 kilometers east of Albany, Western Australia. The base rocks are augen gneiss covered with rich red brown loams overlying sandy clay loams interspersed with ironstone, a soil profile considered ideal for viticulture. The property is set on approximately 200 acres and the vineyard takes up 25 acres. They produce 70-80 tons of grapes per year as well as about 66,000 bottles of wine.

Murray retired from state politics, after representing the Great Southern region of Western Australia in parliament for 12 years, to pursue his passion and a new career in wine. He now manages the Montgomery family property with his wife Pamela. He is still actively involved as a spokesman for the rural sector and the local community. Murray is a board member of the College of Agriculture in Denmark and holds various other advisory positions.
